My experience teaching for nine years at the acclaimed Westmark School in Encino trained me to teach with state of the art special education techniques. The Lindamood Bell LIPS program, formerly the ADD (Auditory Discrimination in Depth program), is a linguistic phonemic sequencing method which addresses the sensory cognitive problems of reading and spelling. Using a multi-modality perspective of sounds and mouth actions students learn to self correct.

Visualization/Verbalization is a method also devised by Nancibell to address language comprehension and critical thinking. It stimulates concept imagery and expressive language.

The Wilson Program is an organized sequential reading and spelling program based on Orton Gillingham methods . It includes interactive and multi-sensory techniques designed to help older children increase their phonemic awareness.
